Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Times Square, NY
Employment Type: 6+ Months Contract
Job Details: - Work on architectural designs for cloud based infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Ansible (preferred, puppet or chef experience will also be considered)
- Proficient with Amazon resources including but not limited to VPC, subnets, network access control lists, and security groups, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, IAM, R53, and their respective settings and best practices
- Proficient in scripting AMI/image deployment and bootstrapping
- Expert level knowledge of Linux/Unix Powershell is a plus.
- Experience Install and configure application layer components - web servers (Apache etc.) and application servers (Tomcat etc.) with working knowledge of how they work.
- Experience in Installing and configuring middleware components - message brokers, databases, with understanding of their topologies.
- Proficient in CI/CD models, tools (Jenkins/Bamboo etc)
- Deploy, test, and document development, staging, and production environments
- Knowledge of Containers, (Docker), container management (Kubernetes) is a plus
