Job Title Storage Engineer
Job Description Cerner Technology Services is growing! Are you looking to join a fast-paced team and work in one of our state of the art data centers? Storage Engineers are responsible for managing our Storage Area Network in support of our CTS solutions and services. This position requires a thorough knowledge of SAN fabric protocols, SAN routing and zoning configuration, Brocade Switches, HP, NetApp, EMC, and IBM storage systems, and various SAN management solutions. The primary function of this position is the implementation, support, and management of SAN hardware and software serving storage to a heterogeneous environment consisting of Windows, Linux, VMS, and various UNIX operating systems.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications - Storage certifications a plus
Expectations - May be required to lift up to 20 lbs., i.e. server, network equipment
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
