Solutions Engineer Document Management
Responsible for providing post-sales support for the Solution Sales Specialist and sales environment. Complete software implementations, connectivity and customer workflow functions. Primary engineer for Docuware (Document Management Software) installations and support plus other software applications within the Toshiba Solutions Portfolio of products.
Responsibilities Pre and Post Sales field support
- Complete Proof of Concept Configurations.
- Provide support for software break fix customer calls.
- Post-sales, implement plan for customer install of solutions-based products (Docuware) , utilizing department resources and ensuring a smooth, quality implementation.
- Establish and maintain documentation records of customers and prospective customers' installed systems and operating infrastructure.
- Review and maintain support and project tasks in ticketing system.
- Analyze existing customer infrastructure and plan a deployment strategy to ensure smooth, quality implementation of deployed solutions products.
- Primary contributor to the development of Statements of Work for software (Docuware) pre sales and sales transactions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience - Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- 4+ year experience in a technical support role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Technical Competencies: - Windows (XP and later) and Mac (OSX and later) desktop environments.
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, SBS, Active directory.
- Web Server experience a plus (Apache/Tomcat, IIS).
- DB Experience a plus (SQL, MySQL, SQL Express, Oracle).
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages a plus.
