Responsible for overall engineering activities. Order and schedule activities and resources; negotiate with owners and sub-contractors; develop agreements, progress reports, complete invoicing, Track and analyze costs, quantity calculations, spreadsheets, pay estimates, bids and take-offs for future work. Assist in supervising project personnel to include scheduling, conflict resolution, work hours, etc. Ensure safety and quality on project. Work in alignment with Graniterock Safe Work Practices, Core Purpose, Values, and Objectives, and support "One Company" principles
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or related major.
SKILLS: Must have excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills. Ability to read plans and interpret contract specifications; demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Primavera Scheduling; knowledge of construction equipment and materials. Ability to maintain project records, schedules and costs.
EXPERIENCE: Prior construction engineering, estimating or similar intern/full-time experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS: Proficient in CADD or similar program, understand survey; ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
EXPERIENCE: 1- 4 years Project Engineer experience.
OTHER COMMENTS: Must have valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record.
