Our verification solutions enable leading semiconductor and systems companies to cut months off their design schedules by helping them verify advanced silicon chips together with software, faster. This internship position is with our Verification Group.
What you will learn:
You will be part of a local team working on performance for an emulator, the ZeBu platform by Synopsys. The work involves a large existing code base (in C++), complex data structures, multi-process and multi-threading: the ZeBu compiler takes as input the largest designs in the world, and you will learn to write code that scales both in compile time /memory, but also in terms of software architecture.
Skill Requirements: The successful candidate should have:
- Professional experience in software development using C/C++
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong background in data structures, algorithms
- Experience in complex software development
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork skills, autonomy
- Strong desires to learn and explore new technologies
Education Requirements: - Must be currently enrolled in a Masters Program pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Applied Mathematics
