Position Summary: are looking for a design engineer to join Trekoad and Speed product development team. Do you have mad mechanical engineering skills? Position Responsibilities: - Plan and conduct engineering research, design, and development tasks for frames and components, made from carbon, alloy and other materials.
- Create and modify engineering specification packages to ensure products meet parameters.
- Serve as a technical resource to other departments as necessary.
- Coordinate engineering activities with domestic/foreign design teammates.
- Perform engineering research, testing and development assignments of complexity and variety.
- Assist legal department with patents and related issues for new and existing product.
- Travel as necessary both domestically and internationally (typically China and Taiwan).
- Complete engineering tasks using Treknternal systems (including SolidWorks, EPDM, Matrix, Enovia, @Task).
- Effectively balance multiple projects, responsibilities, and tasks simultaneously.
Position Requirements: - Bacheloregree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Passion for cycling
- 3-5 years job experience applicable to the responsibilities above a plus.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude.
- Computer aided engineering skills including simulation programs, mathematical modeling, and analysis programs a plus, particularly Solidworks experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills -able to interact effectively with domestic and international teammates.
- Attitude that fosters continuous improvement and flexibility.
- Proficient planning and organization skills, initiative, accountability, and attention to details.
- Competent computer database, spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing abilities.
