We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III
Responsibilities: Role Summary/Purpose
Develop, troubleshoot & continuously improve manufacturing processes for electrical & mechanical products. Role will combine Integrated Program Team (IPT) membership and manufacturing work center technical lead activities.
Essential Responsibilities - Develop electrical & mechanical product manufacturing processes
- Generate assembly process flow, engineering specifications and work instructions to define and control manufacturing processes
- Provide input to product design teams to optimize product designs for manufacturing
- Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures in the manufacturing environment to optimize product quality, delivery to schedule, flow efficiency and operations cost
- Lead and participate in process troubleshooting and failure
- Select, oversee & maintain production equipment
- Provide process training
- Coordinate change management needs with internal and external customers for assigned roles
- Support program teams in transitioning new products to production
Qualifications Qualifications: - B.S. in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 7 years minimum experience in electronics or mechanical product design or manufacturing preferred
- Experience with the following processes preferred:
- Military/Space mission products
- High product mix
- Electronics assembly, inspection & test
- Soldering processes
- Wire/harness assembly
- Quality control techniques * Strong troubleshooting, creative problem solving, and critical thinking/reasoning skills
- Project leadership and management experience
- Clear communicator (listening, speaking, writing)
- Proficiency in understanding mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications

- Able to obtain J-STD-001, J-STD-001 Space Addendum/IPC-A-610 certifications
