Job Summary OnCommand Insight Team in NetApp is one of the fastest moving teams. We are looking for a senior software engineer who can develop a scalable automation infrastructure for OnCommand Insight. You will be working on the latest automation technologies to improve the overall quality of the product that we deliver. This gives you an exposure to the technologies like Elastic Search, Docker containers, Kafka, Flink, Zookeeper, Kubernetes, AWS Services, Selenium, Rest API, Cognos
Responsibilities: - Design and Implement Automation Framework for OCI as SaaS solution.
- Improve Automation Coverage for both on premise version and SaaS version.
- Research and Development of Automation Tools to make OCI teams more productive.
- Code Reviews and Enforcing Coding guidelines in the team.
Job Requirements - 10+ years of development experience in Java
- Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practices
- Excellent Design skills.
- Experience in troubleshooting multi threaded applications.
- Experience in Selenium is good to have.
- Experience in Docker Containers is good to have.
- Creative and analytical approach to problem solving
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Education - A minimum of 10 years of experience is required. 12 to 14 years of experience is preferred
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
