Description Entry level position for an Engineer with limited or no experience. Performs routine and specific work that is normally part of a broader engineering project. Work requires applications of standard techniques in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. May perform as a liaison in remote facility to provide engineering positions and communications.
Responsibilities - Communicate with customers to accurately determine their requirements and the best solution
- Collects, analyzes and interprets performance and cost data.
- Designs and develops components, subassemblies and simple circuits.
- Select electrical components and design circuits, assemblies, or product options.
- Help define new software algorithms for process control components.
- Integrate new or revised control systems into the products.
- Develop unit and system schematics, electrical bills of material, and electric panel layouts
- Follow recognized agency standards for design and testing practices
- Initiate lab test requests, guide technicians, evaluate and document results
- Develop test simulators that reproduce product and system schematics.
- Support Marketing and Production with generation of electrical literature and serial tag data
- Create new and revised purchased part, fabrication, assembly or schematic drawings using CAD system
- Enter drawings and bills of material into computerized documentation system
- Issue Engineering Changes and Deviations to release permanent or temporary designs.
- Work with local and remote plants to implement designs into production.
Additional Information - Develop Engineering computer programs as required.
- May assume engineering responsibility for completing minor projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Some working knowledge in required engineering activities.
- Good planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills and must also be team oriented.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bacheloregree in Engineering or minimum eight years professional experience
