Belcan has a job for a Mechanical Engineer with an aerospace company in Dayton, Ohio. The resource will utilize their experience or expertise to support Systems Engineering activities for the client's project.
Responsibilities: - System requirements analysis and traceability
- Support of the generation of System cert artifacts
- System test procedure development, review, and execution
- Systems Problem Report generation, resolution, and verification
- System verification/test data analysis
- Work on-site at the location in Dayton, OH under the direction of the Systems Engineering Project Managers (EPMs)
- Work multiple shift coverage when in support of the test execution in the power lab, including rotating weekend and off-shift coverage
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a mechanical engineering background (preferably with rotating machinery)
- Experience with Systems Engineering of power generation systems (preferably in the commercial aerospace industry)
- Experience with System Verification of aviation electrical power systems
- Experience with electrical power system lab equipment (drive stands, high power load banks, data acquisition systems, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal and leadership skills
- Candidate shall be a US citizen or green card holder.
