A Communications Engineer job in West Mifflin, PA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with project lead engineers, project management, and customers to ensure successful design, integration, testing, and the commissioning of fully integrated communication systems. Communication systems include all technical aspects and integration of Networking, VoIP, Telephony, RF Propagation, CCTV, Public Address and Information Systems, SCADA systems, and SCADA control systems. To be considered for this role, you will have an Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering Bachelor's degree plus a desire to work as a Communications Engineer. Relevant internship is a plus.
Communications Engineer job duties:
- Design and commission Communication systems for projects worldwide.
- Design communication systems using off the shelf components based on customer requirements. This includes all aspects of the design of communications subsystems, including the work of other Engineers and Technologists.
- Interface with customers on design status and open action items.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Excellent Oral and written communications skills.
- A transcript of collegiate grades is required of applicants.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of communication systems.
- Internship utilizing Networking, VoIP, telephony, Public Address audio, LCD display technologies, PLCs and CCTV would be a plus.
