Job Overview Qualcomm is a leading provider of wireless and wired technologies for the mobile, networking, computing and consumer electronics markets. The Systems Performance Engineer will be required to drive optimization of Qualcomm's wireless connectivity solutions. You will be an important member of a cross-functional global team, working closely with engineers from the Algorithms, Software, DVT, Architecture, and PHY Bring Up teams, taking designs from pre-silicon to delivery of customer samples. Tasks include functional testing of new designs in simulation/FPGA prior to tape out, wired and over the air throughput measurements, determination of key performance indicators, and debug of performance issues.

Minimum Qualifications br/
- Knowledge of wireless industry standards including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax

- Excellent programming/scripting skills in C/C++, Perl, and/or Python.

- Solid understanding of baseband signal processing algorithms at the PHY and MAC layers.

- Knowledge of RF engineering at a systems level.
