Targets Requirements Engineer

Position Overview: This position provides systems engineering (SE) support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Threat Systems Engineering. The engineer serves as the Target Requirements Working Group (TRWG) Secretariat, and develops technical documentation for target requirements and verification of those requirements. Additionally, the engineer participates in the development systems engineering reviews, per the direction of the MDA Instruction 5000.6-INS.
Experience Requirements: Ability to act as the Secretariat for the Target Requirements Working Group (TRWG) and Sub-TRWG. Provide briefings and minutes, Maintain action item data base for the TRWG,
Able to develop chart package for Preliminary/Critical Target Requirements Review (PTRR/CTRR).
Complete Entrance/Exit Checklist criteria based on SE standard processes.
Comfortable Supporting TRWG Leadership for special topics
Ability to write Target Assessment and Certification Reports (TACR) and target requirement deviation requests based on technical analysis provided by team
Able to develop and finalize Staff charts, prepare Staff Summary Sheet (SSS) and Build Instructions for E-taskers, provide input to Weekly Activity Reports, support E-tasker development and tracking
Creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, and out-of-the-box thinking
Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers (geographically diverse) of different perspectives
Ability to effectively capture TRWG meeting minutes and action items
Energetic, motivated, self-starting
Desired Skills: Experience in Target Trajectory Requirements
