Job Summary AECOM is seeking a candidate for the position of Construction Project Engineer in the Transportation Department in Green Bay WI.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate construction schedules with staff to ensure items of work are installed according to WisDOT specifications.
- Communicating directly with clients to develop business opportunities as well as maintain working relationships
- Work will consist of business development, contract negotiation, construction administration, project oversight of WisDOT and local projects, team leadership and mentoring staff
The appropriately qualified candidate will be based out of the Green Bay office and may need to travel during the day or overnight for projects in the North East Region. They will need to work independently and with other team members to complete quality WisDOT construction projects on time and within budgets.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- P.E. license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within one year of hire
- Past proven WisDOT Project Leader experience
- Proven team leadership
- Ability to win and lead future WisDOT North East Region construction projects
- Familiarity with WisDOT: FDM, Standard Specifications, Field Manager, Pantry, and construction practices
Preferred Qualifications - GPS and Survey equipment knowledge
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with municipal, county, and non-WisDOT construction projects
- Familiarity with roadway, structure, and design experience
- The ability to obtain WisDOT material certifications
