Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years' experience with Cloud, Virtualization, Networking, Storage and other similar enterprise technologies including scoping, planning, installation, migration, sizing and integration of Enterprise Cloud Subsystems; cloud network in heterogeneous server/storage physical & virtual environments.

SUMMARY OF JOB: The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for providing implementation and ongoing support for both private and public cloud environments based on VMware and cutting-edge OpenStack technologies. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be tasked with deploying cloud environments from server bare metal to customer handover, based on NTT America's design specifications and customer needs. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with other members of the technology staff, including systems administrators, network engineers, quality assurance, customer operations and software engineers as required. Responsibilities: - Build, support, and maintain a VMware vSphere and vRealize Automation stack based on defined specifications. - General systems administration tasks in support of deployment of the environment, such as Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft SQL Server tasks. - Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and analysis. - Coordination of complex build tasks with Project Management and other technical teams. - Documentation and runbook creation. - Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications (knowledge/skills/abilities): - 5 years experience with VMware vSphere, up to and including version 6.x. - Experience with Linux (CentOS/RHEL 6-7), Windows (2012 R2+), and Microsoft SQL (2014+) - Scripting abilities, preferably with Python and PowerCLI / PowerShell - Excellent planning, analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills - Strong documentation writing skills - Ability to complete long term tasks with light supervision.

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Engineering or other related field. Pluses: - VCP6 / VCP Cloud Certification a strong plus - OpenStack experience - AWS / Azure experience
