Job Overview The Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity software department requires a software engineer with embedded systems experience to develop and maintain short range wireless (IEEE 802.15.4/Bluetooth/WiFi) software solutions. Duties will include: - Develop and maintain Bluetooth, IEEE 15.4, and WiFi software protocol stacks (including, but not limited to): - Bluetooth BR/EDR and Low Energy protocols, services, and profiles - Zigbee - Thread Networking - IPv6 networking - Mesh networking - Work with test groups to develop and document test plans - Work with the support and product teams to develop, verify, and resolve customer issues.

Preferred Qualifications Wireless experience (Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11, UWB, Zigbee, RF, etc.) IPv4/IPv6 Networking Communication protocol knowledge JTAG debugging skills Software debugging skills (with and without a source debugger) Linux experience Scripting languages a plus (PERL/Python) Ability to write documentation
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
