The Network Solutions Engineer is a subject matter expert in data communications and is responsible for the design, implementation, and delivery of effective and secure network systems, infrastructure and related technologies. In addition, this individual has broad knowledge of information technology at large, with a firm understanding of related disciplines and how they inter-operate with network hardware and software devices. The Network Solutions Engineer will be responsible for leading design, implementation, participate in day-to-day operations, and troubleshooting efforts and will be directly accountable for the results. The Network Solutions Engineereep and broad knowledge enables a holistic understanding of the technology environment.
Responsibilities: - Network Solutions Engineer responsible planning, design, implementation and operations of Shirenterprise Network;
- Leading teams in large projects to develop and recommend scalable solutions for LAN / WLAN / WAN / Data Center / Cloud services and ensure that initiatives support the corporate vision.

- Ability to resolve complex problems, design solutions, participate in strategy discussions, and manage technical components of a project
- Drive technical decisions with set technology standards; update and documentation of design standards
- Evaluate emerging technology and translate into solutions that solve business problems
- Accountable for enterprise-wide system performance with regards to networking and the underlying components, primarily Cisco networking (routing, switching, wireless)
- Proactively collaborate with other technology departments and related business units to increase system efficiencies, document system architecture and define long-term design strategies
- Analyze business requirements and ensure that solutions meet established networking and company policies and controls.
- Partner with business owners & application teams to define and enhance technology solutions to meet business, performance, and security requirements
- Review on an ongoing basis existing networks and systems to recommend process and system improvements, as well as policy changes related to IT networking and system architecture
- Demonstrate knowledge of applicable industry networking standards, hardware and software controls, and emerging networking and security issues
- Serves as a key resource to work with various technical teams to diagnose and troubleshoot complex and/or critical issues with networking and system considerations
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation among peer network engineering staff; Act as Level 3 escalation point for Priority 1 incidents
- Responds to and appropriately addresses support calls, incidents, and requests related to the network and security infrastructure
Requirements: - Minimum of 8 years supporting large scale enterprise networks
- CCNP or comparable level of experience
- Experience with Cisco switching and routing technologies
- Experience with Cisco ASA Firewall, VPN, WLANs and ISE technologies
- Expert level knowledge of Cisco Routing (BGP, EIGRP and OSPF)
- SDWAN, MPLS and Internet routing experience
- Experience with O365 and Azure
- Experience planning and designing with Palo Alto Firewall infrastructure in an enterprise environment
- Ability to identify and recommend network changes to improve efficiency and lower costs
- Ability to work independently and with a team to support corporate network and projects
- Network project ownership, leadership and status reporting as needed
- Cisco video conferencing experience a plus
- Solar Winds experience a plus
- Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager a plus
- Strong understanding of VPN (site to site, remote access client, IPSec, IKE, tunnel modes, SSL, Tunnels between Firewalls) with broad troubleshooting experience
- Bacheloregree majoring in Engineering, Computer Science or 10 years of relevant experience
