An Electrical Engineer job in Raleigh, NC is available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for performing the layout, analysis, and design of the electrical engineering scope of work for industrial projects. To be considered for this role, you will need 4-10 years' project electrical design experience with single-discipline project design lead experience. This is a contract to hire opening that offers a competitive rate and paid holidays.
Electrical Engineer Duties
- Power distribution, specification of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, Variable Frequency drives, and motors.
- Preparation of electrical drawings such as electric room layouts, single line diagrams, elementary diagrams, interconnection diagrams, power plans and cable schedules.
Electrical Engineer Qualifications
- Highly knowledgeable on heavy Industrial Electrical systems
- Multidiscipline project design experience
- 4-10 years' project electrical design experience with single-discipline project design lead experience
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering from ABET accredited program (EIT designation a plus)
- Proficient in Power System Analysis design software (i.e. SKM, ETAP, Easypower, etcli>
