JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Senior Software Engineer - Integration Technology will play a senior role in making sure of projects with system integration needs meet the business goals on time. This person will also focus on adapting and putting into use Integration ways of rules managed by Architecture group. Will also play as an offshore developer's coordinator, by making sure of the deliveries in high standard in an appropriately-timed fashion.
Demonstrates and applies recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, or techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Provides highly innovative solutions. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as top-level technical expert in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of all Integration related tasks in all projects, responsible for their overall integrity and reliability.
- Assist with problem management activities, provides tier-three support and guides less experienced staff in problem resolution.
- Drive the development, implementation, and maintenance tools, procedures, and deliverables standards pertaining to Integration space.
- Provide general oversight of assigned projects. May serve in the role of project lead, assuming responsibility for oversight of most or all aspects of a project. Undertakes research and/or evaluation projects as assigned, providing formal documentation of findings and conclusions according to established department standards.
- Develop Integration process requirements and design specs based on organizational needs
- Develop and analyze highly complex system integration flows
- Performance tuning, identify and fix performance bottlenecks and tune the applications using traditional techniques.
- Evaluate products and upgrades for appropriateness. Oversee and implement system upgrade strategies
- Provide technical leadership to appropriate personnel on highly complex system administration activities.
- Work closely with multiple departments as well as provide detailed status reports on assigned projects and ongoing support for assigned systems and applications.
- Ensure performance of systems meet expected Service Level Agreements.
- Engages with the vendor to assure all environment and functionality changes are aligned with the needed uses. Assures that critical needs are on the product roadmap to support ongoing usability of the integration technology
- Lead and coordinate efforts during production outages.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering; MS degree preferred.
Experience: - Must have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT development and Integrations space.
- Must have 2+ of experience in iPaaS integration technologies and at least one complete implementation experience of Informatica Cloud Application and Data Integration with Salesforce platform or any other major cloud based platforms.
- Must have 1+ years of experience integrating on premise data with Salesforce.com
- Experience working with technologies/standards like SOAP, REST, XML, WSDL, XSD, UDDI and JSON ,ODATA , JMS is required
- Must have good development skill in Java.
- Experience working in building a API Developer portal and organizing endpoints.
- Expertise in Features of Various Informatica Cloud Editions and differences between them
- Hands on experience in various Informatica cloud connectors like Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.
- Experience on migrating existing applications(Mulesoft) to Informatica Cloud
- Expertise on Informatica cloud features like, Data Integration, Real Time integration, Hybrid Integration, APIs, B2B, Data Quality, Cloud Designer, MDM, BPM
- Expertise on Cloud Integration, Cloud Customer 360 for Salesforce, Cloud Test Data Management, Cloud Data Loader
- Extensive experience at Informatica cloud deployment & release management
- Experience in the usage of reusability factors with Informatica cloud
- Experience at performance tuning of ETL jobs with Informatica cloud
- Experience at Informatica cloud Data synchronization, data replication etc.
- Good Understanding of API security models.
- Experience handling Security design in Hybrid integration environment.
- Exposure to Agile Methodologies
