Looking for a talented, highly motivated Systems Engineer with technical project leadership experience to join the protected satellite communications team. The AEHF SEIT team supports both the AEHF Production and COOLS sustainment contracts. Specific responsibilities include:
- Interacting, planning and coordination with multiple discipline engineering teams, including the Government customer, for technical issues
- Providing system level expertise on Protected Satellite communications
- Providing System level technical leadership over AEHF development, sustainment or new business Studies
- Contributing to the development of a number of specifications (CONOPS, architecture, requirements, ICDs and integration plans) to support the procurement, development and integration of the SATCOM system.
** This position requires a government security clearance and only candidates with US Citizenship will be considered. **
Basic Qualifications - Experience with Military Space Communication systems or similar aerospace program
- Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering/Integration and ability to work as part of a technical team
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management and peers
- Demonstrated technical leadership including planning, scheduling and execution
- Experience with proposals (for example, writing a technical volume, drafting supporting technical documentation, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent related work experience
- US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired skills - Demonstrated experience with system level reviews such as SRR, SDR, PDR or CDRs
- Demonstrated understanding of RF Communications and Communication Systems
- Ability to perform complex system trades and analysis
- Presentation skills
- Experience with Control Account Manager (CAM)/Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
