JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) Technology is developing a cloud-native application - ctrum Ops Workstationat provides operations teams with a global network of machine learning-enabled tools that will continuously monitor hot-spots and advance controls for complex processes. These micro-service powered tools will be used locally and independently to resolve processing hurdles or can be chained together to autonomously control large global processes involving disparate applications, high data volumes and multi-team workflows. Ops Workstation will exploit the advantage of cloud computing - continuous delivery, elastic infrastructure, and automated recovery to deliver continuously evolving tools and reliable monitors that will provide in-depth process visibility and business logic transparency needed for operations teams to streamline global operating models. Vice President - Ops Workstation Team Senior Software Engineer
The Ops Workstation extreme programming team is looking for a strong senior cloud developer to liaise with technology and business teams in Global Technology and Asset Management. The full-stack developer in this test-first culture should be passionate about architecting and building best in class solutions. They will need strategic vision to help guide the agile team as they deploy applications in a DevOps environment. In addition, this innovator will participate in pair-programming and will play a mentor/developer role as part of their responsibility for coding globally scalable cloud computing solutions. The position is based in Newark, DE.
Job Responsibilities Collaborate with technology teams and business users to engineer responsive cloud solutions
Develop, test, and deploy full-stack solutions using a DevOps model

Technical Experience Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing and Java
10 years of experience in a financial service environment including global projects * Hands on micro-service experience with spring boot and dependency injection
- Hands on experience with UI technologies including Angular and typescript
- Practical knowledge of best practice UI patterns such as flux and observer
- Experience with UI tooling such as webpack, karma, npm, node and phantomjs
- Experience with git, jira, jenkins, maven or similar SDLC tools is a plus
10 years of experience with SQL and database query performance tuning
