Overview We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Ingest / ETL Software Engineering team here at Mimecast in London taking responsible for building, testing and releasing our 'state of the art' email products and services here at Mimecast in London.
In this role you will be tasked with testing primarily back-end systems and technologies related to Data Ingestion and ETL in a fast paced and challenging technology environment that has adopted a DevOps culture for rapid delivery.
Responsibilities - Maintaining and improving existing automated tests
- Writing new automated tests for new products and features
- Improving test coverage
- Investigating test failures
- Making suggestions for improving the QA framework
- Helping other teams investigate failures in their tests that rely on ETL services
- Carry out deployments in our QA environment
- Investigate production issues as required
- Occasionally help with manual testing
Qualifications - ruby, jruby, rubymine, cucumber
- Windows Server environment
- Testing .NET apps and services
- Testing Java apps and services
- Ideal candidate will also have experience with:
- Jenkins, GIT, SVN, Octopus Deploy
