Our client, a Government Entity in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for a Senior Communications Manager to become a core member of the communications function in the company.
Role: - Provide strategic communications counsel and assist in the development of communications materials for project partners
- Draft communications collateral and materials; memos, internal PR, biographies, and briefing notes based on the direction and guidance provided by the Head of Communications
- Draft informative and visually compelling presentations to inform and advise stakeholders
- Manage the companies relationship with external communications consultants, help structure their work and manage timelines
- Build and maintain affiliations with external stakeholders and media outlets to ensure effective relationships are developed with key personnel and organizations, both nationally and internationally
- Identify information and/or situations that may pose a reputational risk or threat to the company and its projects
- Lead and assist in developing and implementing communications campaigns and events, including concept development, research, writing, liaising with third party suppliers and media, key stakeholder communications, and events logistics and production
- Identify issues and quickly gather information and knowledge on higher education and other related projects in the Middle East, international partnerships in education, and other identified priority areas
Requirements: - 5 - 7 years' experience in strategic communications, public relations, and / or corporate communications
- 5 - 7 years' experience of drafting/supervising the drafting of clear, accurate content (briefing notes, memos, talking points, speeches etc.)
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with meeting set deadlines and attention to detail
