Job Description 1. Prepares project brief, complex schematic drawings from rough sketches conceptual design of various types of projects with other team members to prepare the architectural construction drawings and documents.
2. Selection of materials, preparing mood boards and presentation to Owners, Brands, Principals, Consultants and other departments as necessary.
3. Attend kick-off meeting & site handover to receive LOD drawings
4. Site survey and measurements for estimating the actual site conditions & amending the drawings as necessary.
5. Preparing of detailed architectural drawings, coordinate with internal departments, and Consultants in terms of design requirements, technical drawings submission, follow ups and approval procedures.
6. Coordinate with Project Planner for preparation of technical documents for submissions.
7. Prepare estimated quantities of particular items on drawings as requested by the team.
8. Participates equitably in the development and implementation of new concepts with Owners whether for existing or new brands.
9. Interact with MEP Engineers, Project Planner and Site Engineers for monitoring the progress of execution.
10. Site visits to keep track of progress and provide any assistance if required.
11. Do periodical research and development to upgrade quality of work and update design trends.
12. Handling any other design jobs are delegated by the Sr. Architects & Head of Department.
Skills - Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Shop Drawings
- Be able to work independently and with initiative.
- Experience in Fit Out industry
- IT skills: AutoCAD all versions MS Project, MS Office, and other operating systems.
Education Bachelors in Architecture
