Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodities trading company seeking to hire an Agricultural Exotic Derivatives Trader for their team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Pricing, structuring, trading and risk management of commodity structured products for corporate clients in emerging markets
- Responsible for trading exotic and OTC derivatives (such as Asians, accumulators and barriers) across the agricultural and soft commodities spectrum (including coffee, cocoa, sugar, grain, oilseeds and cotton)
- Trading correlation products such as spread options, compos and quantos. Research and development of pricing models for correlation products
- Coordination with sales teams in key regions in Asia, Europe and Latin America
- Trading is conducted on international exchanges (Europe, Asia, US). As such the candidate may be required to trade periodic late hour shifts, depending on the time difference
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Advanced degree in a quantitative and/or mathematical discipline (Engineering, Physics, Economics, Mathematics, etc)
- 3-5 years' experience in trading and/or structuring exotic options (Asians, accumulators, barriers) and correlation products such as composite options (compos) and quantos
- Background in any asset class / product (FX, credit, equities, commodities, interest rates). Commodities experience advantageous, but not necessary
- Willing to be based in Dubai and relocate if needed
