To assess the training needs of the CI organisation, identifying critical gaps and to refresh, create and deploy the core modules aligned to the CI strategic pillars.
The successful candidate will be charged with simplfying and centralising relevant materials, training and information for ease of access by the teams to support CI business development with global clients and identification of local opportunities. This may involve designing new content and refreshing existing materials.You will develop a training program using the scope, sell, deliver framework & quickly deploy targeted trainings. Partner with HR to develop our strategic competency framework against which CI roles can be mapped for career development, in role training and recruitment purposes.
Job Responsibilities Training
- Review what already exists in terms of product, commercial skills trainings, writing proposals etc from across the CI and wider Nielsen organisation (power messaging, CAP and so on)
- Assess current utilisation of existing trainings across markets - identifying BDPs.
- Assess the knowledge gap in current CI organisation (product selection, field, data interpretation, story telling)
- Should include soft skills training - how to sell, building compelling proposals.
- Develop strategic CI competency framework to 1. Attract 2. Retain and 3. Build talent of the CI organisation across all roles/levels and drive usage of the same across all CI markets to raise the overall standard of CI associates at Nielsen and their respective career opportunities.
- Identify core KPIs to measure the impact of training on CI business (eg. proposal win rate, repeat rate, client testimonials and feedback, career development)
- Identify potential training organisation partners to help develop and deploy the materials, including internal TED teams in the various markets.
Knowledge Management
- Review what/how current information is shared across the CI organisation (Google sites/drives and aso informal sharing between individuals - calls/emails etc) and assess any commonality in what the teams are accessing/why, including any global client specific information.
- Identify the right platform to serve as the central repository for CI (case studies, best practices, SOPs, proposals and product information)
- Review format of current content and recommend a way to optimise content without creating additional work for the team (eg. consistent naming, case stud 1 page templates etc)
- Ensure information being shared does not conflict with any client confidentialities or contractual obligations and is in line with GDPR guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate - Trainer - someone who can bring the content to life (face-to-face, e-learning, webinars, ebooks) doesn't need to understand the products as much as develop product specific training separately, strong in sales/commercial sills and what compellig propositions mean for clients in any business.
- Background - commercial, ideally client background or experience in the past, knows what a good proposal looks like, knows about breadth of research tools and tehcniques (qual, quant and tech enabled)
- Change Agent - able to break existing habits and practices of the CI organisation to build new ones, leverging the content.
