Our client is a leading Catering Company with an excellent reputation across the region. We are looking for an experienced Food Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Job Overview The Food Engineers utilize the latest innovative technology to process, package, preserve and improve food products. Works in combination with the agricultural and food processing industry to ensure food safety, supply, nutrition and value.
Responsibilities - Create new techniques for processing, packaging and preserving food
- Test the process and the utilization of food equipment
- Develop and design new food equipment
- Research and create new foods and pharmaceutical products
- Offer marketing and technical support for food manufacturing companies
- Problem solve to develop solutions for food challenges related to supply and preservation throughout the process cycle
Essential Requirements - Bachelor's degree
- At least 15 years in total
- Minimum 4 years experience the same position within a Catering/ Restaurant Chain Company
- Must have knowledge in food processing technologies
- Ability to improve the catering side of the company
- Open to male Western, EU, UK, American & Canadian nationals in UAE now
Salary/Compensation - Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
- Salary is up to 55k AED per month total package
