Role Purpose .JOB PURPOSE: Serve as the Strategic Advisor for the Company and ensure alignment of Corporate Strategic Objectives with key stakeholders ADP, PTE, ADNOC and Borealis
Supports the Strategy Management Department Manager in execution and follow up of tasks as assigned
Development, implementation, follow up and reporting on Corporate Strategy and related initiatives
Advises on corporate business strategy and governance and their implementation within the organization. Promote clarity of vision, strategy and scope, and continuously promote good governance within the company and in dealings with stakeholders.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead the development, seek approval and ensure effective implementation of the Organizational strategy in line with global best practices, ensuring alignment to the Business Support and Corporate strategy Division.
Ensure effective implementation of strategic plans as per set timelines in order to support achievement of corporate objectives and Business Plan.
Manage and direct the development of the Business Plan to establish medium and long term strategies and work programmes for all other activities of the Company.
Support the CEO office in various tasks ranging from responding to owners request, data collection and preparation of specific reports as and when requested in a timely manner.
Coordinate the preparation and presentation of the Company Business Plan for the Company Senior Management.
Provide professional analytical, financial and technical support to Senior Management and all Divisions.
Reviews corporate business management and governance frameworks and provides recommendations for improvement.
Leads the teams to review established corporate business strategy processes and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Ensures that the corporate policies are in line with the corporate strategy and vice versa, and that there is alignment between the conditions within which the Company is operating and the long-term/short-term strategy.
Reviews the Company’s current business practices to ensure the current conditions within which it operates are considered when creating the long-term/short-term strategies.
Monitors and reviews corporate governance rules and regulations to ensure that the Company is aligned with them.
Evaluates the company’s internal and external committees, in terms of value creation and business needs, and provides recommendations for improvement.
Establishes workflow processes to streamline internal and external communication and promotes organizational transparency.
Skills Sound knowledge of International Business, Strategic Planning, Enterprise Risk, Operation Management, Operation Research and Analysis.
High Mathematical IQ for technical-market analysis and scenarios is preferred.
Development of short / long term strategies
Development of Business plans
Joint Venture and Service level agreements
Knowledge of business scenarios, regression models and market analysis
Fluency in English Language; written and oral
Advanced technical writing skills.
Computer literacy; Microsoft Office, ERP and Internet Explorer
Experience 10 years of experience, in Business Strategy/Corporate Governance with at least 6 years in the oil/gas or petrochemical Industry
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent degree in Business Administration preferably with additional professional certification in corporate governance or business strategy. Postgraduate degree in International Business or Economy is preferred.
