About the job Reporting to the IPR Manager, the job holder is responsible to manage Borouge’ Patents to be in line with the updated and recognized international agreements and standards for intellectual property rights, this is applicable for all operating and market countries for Borouge, which contributes to safeguard company resources and safely operating or producing in accordance to WIPO. This includes;
to have updated and comprehensive record of market patents, ensure proper patent requisition, achieve the targeted exclusive rights in the relevant countries,
follow up unauthorized uses for Borouge Patents by other manufacturers.
Supported by, working and communicating with external government agencies, patent attorneys, different R&D departments, and Borouge & Borealis’ IPR network.

About you As a successful candidate, you will have a:
Knowledge: Postgraduate Degree in Law (Master or PhD) or Science / Technical area relevant to Petrochemicals Industries.
Sounds knowledge of international trading and manufacturing laws and regulations
Excellent understanding of the Intellectual Property Rights processes
Sounds Knowledge in WIPO regulations, updates, communications and any relevant manuals.
Knowledge in WTO regulations, specifications and any further standards.
Preferred to have good understanding of the relations between molecular structure and polymer properties.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in IPR management in high profile company; preferably operates in Oil & Gas, or Petrochemicals Industries.
Preferred to have Patent Agency or in organisational/national patent office and / or in polymer/process or related industry
Preference to have hands on technical and R&D Operations, or PP or PE material science and applications
