Purpose of Role:

To design, develop and deliver engaging, inspiring and scalable learning experiences utilising design techniques, content authoring tools, creative scripts and storyboards.

Key Accountabilities

Learning Content Design

• Create and develop engaging learning content to support a variety of delivery types (including, but not limited to micro learning, face to face workshops, virtual sessions, and blended learning experiences)
• Produce creative and elegant videos, slide decks, facilitator and learner guides that inspire Careem colleagues and aim to meet their learning needs with a sense of unique style and intelligence
• Create graphics, iconography, illustrations and other visuals that bring learning content to life and present learning experience in an innovative and memorable way
• Write exceptionally well in a conversational and smart style
• Research and experiment with the latest learning design trends and advancements
• Conduct regular content reviews with subject matter experts; seek and act upon creative feedback

Learning/Content Management System Administration

• Support implementation of relevant learning tools and platforms
• Execute deployment and assignment of e-learning content, ILT administration, and micro learning assets
• Develop reports and metrics to evaluate learning impact
• Train new colleagues in using available learning tools and platforms

Facilitation of Learning Experience

• Host virtual learning sessions
• Facilitate face to face learning experiences

Skills & Experience

• Experience with graphic design, video editing, and/or multimedia production
• Expertise in learning technologies, instructional design, adult learning practices
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Acrobat, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, Screenflow, Invision, or iMovie
• Experience or knowledge of eLearning authoring tools like Storyline, Rise, or Captivate
• Ability to produce elegant content in Keynote or Powerpoint
• Strong sense of visual storytelling and an insane eye and ear for detail
• Design thinking skills to produce engaging and impactful learning experiences
• Ability to produce a lot of unique and creative ideas; ability to make connections between previously unrelated concepts and notions
• Can handle multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver on time-while upholding the creative vision

§ BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as instructional design, educational technology, or equivalent experience
