Department Description:
Emirates NBD Group IT is undergoing a leading digital transformation that will drive efficiency across all units The Compute division is an integral part of this activity and will be responsible to drive the continuous product engineering lifecycle of a defined set of technologies that will deliver a standard stack of consumable products within Emirates NBD Datacenters in the following areas
1 Database covering traditional and contemporary DB products
2 Unix Middleware covering RISC HW Unix OS and Middleware products
3 Elastic Compute covering X86 HW Windows Linux OS J2EENET platform Storage Backup platforms and Virtualization products
4 IT Leveraged tools covering the Core IT leveraged products such as Active Directory Exchange Antivirus
5 Infrastructure as a Service covering the orchestration platform the automation for Infrastructure and application end to end deployment on the standard technology stack
The Units key objectives are to onboard and maintain the selected products Faster Better and Cheaper
Brief Description: The Infrastructure as a Service platform will lead the change of how Emirates NBD applications will be deployed and maintained on the standard technology stack
This role will be part of several squads running in an agile approach focusing on delivering continuous improvement on the standard technology stack using open source technologies and developmentscripting skills
This role will play a key role in ensuring any environment built in Emirates NBD is done in a standardized automated approach with tangible cost and time to market benefits

Job Requirements: Streamline the continuous deployment plans for the standard technology stack
Drive agile squads to deliver quick and tangible benefits
Sponsor and drive projects completion
Build the products Strategy and Roadmap
Establish the product backlog that require to be addressed on quarterly basis
Sponsor and drive backlog projects to completion
Continuous RD and vendor engagement
Automate the installation to achieve Zero touch unattended deployment
Review all housekeeping activities and identify key processes that should be automated
Design solutions that caters for enhancing the operational stability
Address Problem tickets Risk and Audit items in the products backlog
- Take the lead in working with the relevant stakeholders* to finalize the relevant products decisions
- Develop PDPs for the staff
- Provide technical guidance
- Act as a level 3 escalation point for operational* activities
Additional Details: Bachelors of Computer Science or Equivalent
Relevant Certification
8 years of experience at a relevant managerial position in large organizations
Banking background
Excellent technical knowledge in Infrastructure as a Service approach and open source toolsetJenkins Terraform Chef Git Hub Go Nexus Maven
Excellent Development and Scripting SkillsRuby Python Power Shell Bash JAVANET
Good knowledge of Infrastructure productsOS DBs Middleware Hypervisors
