Our client is top tier bank in the UAE looking to hire a seasoned banking professional to spearhead the collections division.
The role; - Responsible for developing and implementing policies and processes for efficient collections and recovery of all consumer banking secured asset products
- Focus on minimising Provisions and NPLs whilst leading a team of Collections Managers
- Ensure that the collection targets are met in terms of Provision Budgets, Resolution Rates and NPLs
- Formulating and implementing cost effective collection strategies
- Reviewing the collections strategy regularly and ensure that the collection techniques change with the legal and economic situation in the country
- Coach, Train, develop, motivate the team of Collection Managers and assist them to perform to high standards and develop their potential to enhance knowledge-based skills.
- Remain in constant touch with law enforcement agencies and external lawyers
- Provide portfolio feedback on an on-going basis to Head of Credit for modification of the front end acceptance
Requirements; - Must be a UAE National with Family Book
- Bachelors degree minimum or equivalent
- Must have 10+ years experience in banking ideally with management experience
- Good knowledge of local laws, regulations, retail products and collections/ risk
