CLIENT: We are instructed to assist a major banking client with an additional hire to their legal team. Following a restructure, there is now a vacancy for a Senior Legal Counsel into their transactional banking division. ROLE: The role will be broad in remit and cover advisory, transactional finance, disputes, compliance and regulatory matters. The majority of the work will cover finance and encompass structured, trade, cash management and technology. CANDIDATE: Strong preference will be given to common law qualified candidates, especially those with strong international law firm exposure, or those with excellent backgrounds from banks. An ideal seniority range will be between 5-10 years of PQE. Candidates based in the Middle East region will be given priority but overseas based can also be considered.
