With a presence in the UAE region stretching back decades, this multi-disciplined Global leading law firm is now on the lookout for a 1+ banking associate or a senior associate looking for a lateral move to come in at the forefront of its multi-lawyered banking work; ranging from general finance work to work relating to Islamic Finance. You will be motivated to quickly move up the ladder and ambitious enough to be knocking on the door for partnership in the short to medium term. You will be able to hit the ground running and, with said finance experience a given, be able and confident in advising regional and international banks and financial institutions. Managing banking transactions with ease from 'inception to end' is key and will form the majority of the work as will having a solid understanding of UAE law including inter alia the drafting of Islamic finance agreements, loan agreements and other related documents. Experience re MENA is preferred but certainly not a bar to applications.
