• Assisting UAE, regional and international banks, financial institutions, customers and borrowers with a wide range of finance
• Having a good grasp of UAE law matters, including legal issues relating to the taking of security in the UAE
• Advising clients on options for structuring Shariah compliant transactions and products
• Managing finance transactions from start to finish
• Drafting Islamic finance agreements, loan agreements, UAE security documents and other related agreements; and
• Coordinating business development activities and strategies for key clients and target clients to grow the practice further.

REQUIREMENTS

We are interested in candidates with:

• A strong academic background, including a minimum of a 2:1 from a reputable university
• A minimum of 2-5 years post qualification experience
• Broad banking experience including to encompass some Islamic Finance
• Private practice experience in the MENA region is preferred but not necessary
• Having a genuine interest in developing their long term career with the leading full service law firm in the Middle East
• Drive, enthusiasm and flexibility
• The ability to work well in a team and also work autonomously; and
• Broad commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial nature.

The banking and finance practice represents banks, investment banks, financial institutions and corporate clients in a wide range of financing transactions, drawing on expertise from our corporate, real estate, construction and insurance practice groups. The practice is particular well regarded for its market leading Islamic finance expertise and its ability to advise on complex cross-border finance transactions.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The founders of Bespoke Professionals began their careers in London, working alongside some of the most experienced and respected recruiters in the business for several years before relocating to the Middle East in 2009. In their time in the Middle East, it became apparent that very few of the regions recruitment firms were able to provide a similar kind of efficient, professional and systematic search service to that which can be found in major business centres such as London or Hong Kong.
