Our client is a leading multinational law firm with offices in over 40 countries. They are one of the most established firms across the GCC, with 9 offices in the region. The clientele of this firm are both international and local, and the finance team works with governments, financial bodies, regulatory organisations, private corporations and asset managers.
This role is ideal for associates willing to be flexible, as it involves a wide range of general banking and finance matters, including Islamic finance, project finance and restructuring/insolvency work. Further, it will involve working with colleagues cross-border, along with client engagement and business development. This gives the opportunity to develop client relationships in a small, collegiate practice.
The right candidate for this opportunity will have:
- 3 - 4 PQE* at a well-established law firm;
- Good experience in conventional banking and finance (Islamic finance experience would be advantageous);
- Strong academics;
- Commitment to be based in Dubai.
