The Assistant Director for Nursing Education is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating central
nursing education programs; leading and continuously improving the quality of learning and practice education;
incorporating innovative strategies into educational methods and programs; collaborating with departmental nurse
educators to create meaningful professional development programs and opportunities for nursing staff in the
Department of Nursing.
Additionally, the Assistant Director of Nursing for Education has proven competencies in relationship management, project planning
and execution, using and synthesizing evidence to guide practice and program development, management and
innovation, and coaching and developing staff.
Required Education/Experience:
- Masters Degree in Nursing
- Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two years experience in nursing management.
