JOB REQUIREMENTS (GENERIC):

Internal Contacts

Daily interactions with VP- Commercial and staff within the department and division

Frequent contacts with various Team leaders other Division.

External Contacts

Occasional contacts with external Auditors, Consultants,

Frequent contact with Suppliers & Contractors.

Frequent contacts within the company Group at Manager & Team Leader level.

Independence of Operations

The job holder reports to the VP- Commercial and confers on critical issues pertaining to Contracts and Procurement.

The job holder is expected to implement plans and coordinate all aspects of contracts and procurement.

Minimum Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Bachelors in Engineering/ Technical stream

Work Experience:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience of Contracts in the Oil/Gas or Petroleum industry.

Experience of tendering, contracts preparation and administration, Coding, Cataloguing in Oil/Gas or Petro-chemical Industry, with a sound knowledge of computer operation.

Professional Certifications: Quantity Surveying degree and preferably chartered

Job Skills: (Technical/Non-technical)

Good knowledge and experience in tendering, contracts preparation and administration.

Understanding of manufacturing and engineering standards.

Knowledge of legal and statutory requirements.

Interpersonal and communication skills.

Decision-making and prioritizing abilities.

Analytical & Creative Bent of Mind.

Proficient in English.
