JOB SUMMARY:

• Create BOM and Router of New Mold and Reline stators.

• Manage toolings required to build stators.

• Design and develop toolings required to build stators.

• Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

• Attend enquires of sales

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Evaluate & ensure safe work environment in the shop (Program Basis)

• Ability to Work under limited supervision using standard practices.

• Proficient in reading Engineering DWG's

• Ability to Create 3D models and CNC programs as per DWG requirement

• Record and report each improvement before and after with cost savings detail to the management (Tooling improvement, Parametric changes, Etc.)

• Maintain a regular monitoring system for NCR's & 5Y's relate to programing with Corrective actions

• Standardize Tooling.

• Prepare cost and benefit report (Cost savings of improvement projects)

• Train operator's in detail for the Machine operations and setups.

• 5S & Lean practice initialization

• Work with in the allowed time and ensure meeting departmental Goals

• Special projects advised by the supervisor

FACILITY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:

ME activities

• Create BOM and Router for Reline/New mold parts

• Ensure smooth function of Rotor and stator line

• Prepare CPR for power section parts

• Attend Alignment and issue discussion meetings

• Initiate and handle Process improvements/Cost reduction project

• Prepare cost and benefit report and present it to the management

• Design and Development of tools required for building stators

• Tooling review, ensure correct toolings are available during assembly

• Implement and refine manufacturing processes by applying continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to all areas of production

• Prepare 5S layout and conduct periodic audit

• Create 3D models and CNC programs as per DWG requirement

• Report departmental KPI in KPI portal (eNDMS)

• Analyze and identify the root cause of variance in Work orders. Fix the same immediate by changing the tooling and parameters.

• Special projects advised by the supervisor

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering

• Min 3-5Years experience in the Manufacturing engineering, Mechanical designing.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in Manufacturing /Production related environment.

• Experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX, Pro E/Creo

• Experience in CNC programming using UG NX or any other CAM software

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Skilled to Design and Develop fixtures/Toolings

• Knowledgeable in Drafting/vendor selection and negotiation

• Knowledgeable in CNC Turning programming but not mandatory.
