About the role: An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join Housekeeping department in Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Reports to Engineering work orders and follow up on completion
- To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
- To maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- To ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of the assigned areas.
- To assign responsibilities to subordinates and check their work performance.
- To supervise, coordinate and participate in the cleanliness of all Public areas, ensuring highest possible standard of cleanliness.
- To ensure cleanliness and orderliness are maintained in all areas.
- To ensure all machines are in working condition.
- To schedule necessary preventive maintenance and repair works for engineering.
- To ensure that the Housekeeping Attendants exercise proper discipline and courtesy in attending to guest needs and request.
- To control the consumption of cleaning supplies and supervise adequate stocking of cleaning supplies.
- To know the hotels policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 2years experience as a Team Leader or similar role in a 5 star hotel
- At least high school graduate or with degree in Hospitality Management
- Excellent English communication skills
- Excellent knowledge in chemicals and equipment used in Housekeeping
- A task trainer or able to handle training
- Knowledge in Opera and HotSOS
