Reporting Line: Electrical Supervisor

Department: Al Futtaim Engineering - Facilities Management

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for the maintenance (corrective, reactive and planned preventive maintenance) of all electrical equipment and devices of facilities as per contractual condition.

Accountabilities:

• Electrical Maintenance Services

• Efficiently and effectively provide corrective and reactive maintenance services of all electrical equipment and devices in accordance with electrical standards.
• Efficiently and effectively perform preventative maintenance services of all electrical equipment and devices in accordance with electrical standards and agreed PPM schedule.

• Customer Service

• Contribute to the development of a customer focused service and a positive corporate image, including the maintenance of good working relationship with colleagues and client, client representatives.

• QHSE

• Contribute to safe systems of work and the development of quality management system by ensuring all work practices comply with relevant safety standard.
• Ensure that measures to protect personal safety and well-being are always in place and that personal actions do not jeopardize the safety and well-being of others
• Adhere strictly to all Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions - thus preventing potential incidents at all times.
• Always comply with HSE policy

• Equipment's, Tools & Tackles, Return of materials

• Maintain company's equipment's, tools and tackles used for corrective, preventive maintenance and return the same
• Returning all defective, unused materials, spare parts to store

• Behavioural and discipline

• Punctuality, time management and proper communication with supervisor, team and customers
• Compliance to company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications , Certification and Knowledge:

• Basic English Level 3 (Read & Write)
• High School Certificate
• Vocational Technical Certificate (min. 6 months) / ITI

Job-Specific Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
• Understanding of System Sequence of Operation, schematics of domestics & industrial power, small power and lighting circuits, DB, SMDB, 1Ph motors, 3Ph motors up to 10KW, standard size of wires and ampacity, wire colour coding as per local government standard used.
• Basic understanding of functionality of each component and equipment standard operating values.
• Able to draw and explain schematic of power and light circuits, building power distribution SLD, read and interpret load schedule.
• Complete understanding of industry specified tools (ratchets, drivers, hand tools, crimping tools, analog/digital multi-meter, insulation meter and its uses.
• Planned Preventive Maintenance of small power, lighting system, DB, SMDB, 1Ph & 3Ph Motors up to 10KW.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair / replace small power sockets, light fixtures, DB, SMDB, 1Ph motors & 3Ph motors up to 10KW.
• Able to install, test and commission light switches, light fixtures, small power sockets, power points for a/c machines, DB, SMDB, ELCB, RCCB, UVR, cables, wires, containment including glanding, cable and wire termination, 1Ph and 3Ph motors up to 10KW.
• Able to carry out site inspection and assess condition of light switches, light fixtures, small power sockets, DB, SMDB, MCB, ELCB, RCCB, UVR, relays, contactors & timers, 1Ph motors, 3Ph motors up to 10KW.
• Carryout corrective, reactive, planned preventive maintenance works using computer aided facility management (CAFM),Mobility
