About the Position:

The position exists within the Student Services Department, to provide advice, information and guidance on career preparation, development and choices to undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University through workshops, one on one consultations and drop in sessions.

Essential Criteria:

• A relevant tertiary qualification is required, preferably at post graduate level, together with relevant practical experience in HR and/or recruitment field.
• Experience in recruitment, training and/or HR industries
• Public speaking and presentation skills using a range of media
• Strong spoken and written English language skills
• A strong commitment to improving existing career services and developing new career services
• Ability to work on own initiative and have the drive to excel
• Show an ongoing, original/flexible approach to work tasks and environment
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Administration experience and familiarity with word processing and database software
• Culturally sensitive and non-judgemental
• Be an integral part of the total team
• Flexibility in scheduling as work timings for this position vary and may include weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Have patience, persistence and integrity

Desirable Criteria:

• Multi-lingual such as Arabic, Hindu and Farsi would be an advantage.

Remuneration:

The successful candidates will receive a remuneration package which includes an attractive tax free salary ranging from AED 120, 000 - AED 150,000 per annum, five weeks of paid leave per year, annual air ticket, private medical insurance for self and eligible dependents, life & disability policy, professional development assistance, education allowance for up to 3 eligible children, professional development and fee waiver for self and dependents looking to pursue higher studies.
