About the Role: An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join Engineering Department in Zabeel House by Jumeirah The Greens. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for co-ordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the engineering functions.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Supervises and directs the daily activities of all Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
- Observes activities to ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures.
- Check on completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met.
- Assists in the implementation, co-ordination and monitoring of the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System .This will include the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM and Work Order Systems).
- Handles grievances, suggestions and complaints by colleagues and recommends appropriate action to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.
- Submits a comprehensive monthly report to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer on activities carried out for the month (if required).
- Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes and procedures.
Qualifications About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Having minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in a similar position
Possessing mechanical or electrical diploma or equivalent
Having good verbal and written English skills
Knowledge of FLS and BMS
Knowledge of MS Office Programs
Possessing problem solving and follow up abilities
