ENERCON is hiring for an overseas Contract Management Specialist. The contract will last 12+ months and is located in Abu Dhabi (UAE). The position includes daily (7 days a week) per diem, paid-for trips home to visit (every 3 months) and free medical coverage for the duration of the contract.
Contract Management Specialist
Effectively and efficiently manage the commercial activities of the Prime Contract to ensure client's (located within the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the UAE) commercial risk exposure to change and conflict are minimized and controlled.
Duties: - Develop, maintain and implement work processes and associated tools to support effective. commercial administration of the Prime Contract (PC).
- Administer and negotiate Change to the PC effectively.
- Ensure cost, time and risk issues are being commercially controlled.
- Ensure client commercial interests are protected by minimizing potential for conflict.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
- Chartered member of a recognized professional institution such as RICS, CIOB or ICE.
- Experience in nuclear power or international power.
- Minimum 2-7 years' relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Experience with project management, work program scheduling, project controls/cost controls, management of control.
