Responsibilities Wood is currently looking to recruit a PMC Team Leader for its Dalma Gas Development Project based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Successful candidate should be able to perform the following duties:
He / she shall have the personality and drive to manage, direct and guide the team to achieve the Projects objectives. In addition he / she must be assertive and firm in dealing with FEED Engineer, EPC contractors and other service provides while exercising absolute control on the work
High professional competence, management and leadership skills are the prime requisites to motivate his team to achieve high quality performance during the execution of the Project.
This position demands sincere & hard work and complete accountability to the owner
Responsible for the overall planning, management and successful completion of the projects under him to meet the requirements and objectives of the projects
His / her responsibilities broadly cover identifying and planning the resource requirements, projects conflicts resolution, Ensure proper project management tools and techniques in place and enforced on all projects, Periodic meeting with Company PMT, Repots to management as required, monitor and control projects related interfaces, changes , risk, deviations from requirements, services by company to contractors, lesson learned
Monitor and manage team member performance, Monitor and control overall performance of contractors and suggest resolutions and correction actions as required, attend meetings with contractor, perform trend analysis to ensure projects on track and advise correction actions as required, provide the input required in to deliverables, review letters and reports to ensure Company not exposed contractually, evaluate and advise Company representative on the required actions on claims submitted by Contractors, Ensure optimizations, Control and manger overall sites work
Skills / Qualifications Bachelor of science or equivalent degree in Engineering from an accredited university with minimum fifteen years relevant experience in the oil / gas industry including five years of outstanding project management experience for handling group of logically inter-related major oil / gas projects
Also Minimum five years’ experience with client or PMC organizations
