Responsibilities Principal Responsibilities: - Lead functional and project quality initiatives and programs
- To specify Quality requirements in Engineering, Procurement and Construction phase of the project.
- To co-ordinate with all internal disciplines during all stages of project for implementation of Quality Assurance procedures.
- To Control Non-Conformance by detecting, reporting and follow-up corrective actions to achieve close out in a timely manner.
- To recommend improvements to systems and processes to Client.
- To participate as Quality representative in daily and weekly project site meetings.
- To perform Quality Assurance Audit, Assessments and verification activities at regular intervals throughout the project lifecycle to ensure continued compliance with project Quality Systems.
Skills / Qualifications - Relevant Engineering Degree (B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc.)
- Certified Lead Auditor.
- Membership of a recognised professional institute preferred
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Minimum of 6 years proven capability in an engineering design company
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2000 and the fundamentals of quality assurance procedures.
- Development and implementation of quality plans
- Familiar with International Quality assurance procedures especially in Oil & Gas Projects.
- Knowledge and experience of audit and review of management systems
- Knowledge and experience of procurement quality activities
- Knowledge and experience of construction and commissioning quality activities
- Experienced in the conduct and management of inspection activities
- Thorough awareness of Client, National, and International codes and standards
- Knowledge of the management of special processes i.e. welding, costing, NDT, etc.
