Responsibilities Wood is looking for a Commissioning Engineer (Process) to strengthen our team in Dubai.
Responsibilities: Assist System Completion group and operations personnel assigned to commissioning activities in Dubai offices (UAE).
Assist Co-ordination and execution of the commissioning activities for multiples projects.
Assist Co-ordination liaison for all interfaces on site and with all integrity groups to ensure the project requirements and performance standards are achieved, including maintaining schedule and cost targets.
Reviews the project technical documentation and the contractual requirements.
Review and/or develop System Completion Procedures (Static and Dynamic) associated with the Commissioning of Mechanical/ Piping, Process.
Coordinates activities of vendor representatives and subcontractors.
Provide input during project review of ITR/ ITP including system & sub-system allocation and database population.
Witness Factory Acceptance Test as necessary
Defines commissioning work packages and prepare the relevant procedures with the assistance of discipline engineers.
Provide input for systemization process by developing P&ID’s systems and sub-systems boundaries mark-up, PFD’s review.
Provide technical input during planned systems fills, runs, N2 testing volumes, flaring, chemical cleaning, flushing. Assist in the N2 leak testing project execution
Input to the development of the detailed plan and planning systems including reporting of progress.
Support of the discipline commissioning engineers in achieving the commissioning scope
Participate in the Hand-over acceptance of Systems/ Sub-systems at Mechanical Completion and Turnover phase with Operations group.
Provide support to Mechanical Completion and Turnover coordinator
Promote project safe working practices in line with the safety management systems
Follow and maintains Company standard of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirement.
Provide positive input in Planning and scheduling the correct resource levels
Liaison with Construction in providing and achieving the milestone objectives
Ensure that the relevant permit to work is in place prior to commencement of work and familiar with Isolations.
Review of plant performance test procedures
Skills / Qualifications Any Degree level, preferably a Bachelor's degree in engineering
At least 12 years' experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years in a leading role
Must have extensive knowledge and experience of Oil & Gas process plant & equipment
Must have extensive knowledge and experience of Crude Oil system, Oil separation and stabilization, oil export & metering systems Dehydrator/ Desalter and Utilities systems.
Must have extensive working knowledge experience of P&IDs, PFD’s.
