Responsibilities The role will act as the Consultant Representative for the expected award of AIL Contract (s) and will be responsible for the execution of the Services under these Contracts, with responsibility for delivery to the client(s) and to Wood.
- Act as the nominated consultant Representative for the Contract(s) with responsibility and authority for the delivery of the Services to the client(s)
- Act as the authorised signatory for the Contract(s) on behalf of Wood
- Lead and coordinated the Contract(s) Kick off following receipt of the Letter of Award from the client
- Lead the development of a Commercial plan for the Contract(s) including the setting up of employment packages
- Lead the start-up activities for the Contract(s) including the development of the Contract Deliverables and agree with the client the Performance Metrics to measure performance and report against
- Coordinate with internal departments the support required to provide the Services
- Coordinate with the client the provision of the Services, including timely responses to requests for quotations including proposed candidates for the requested roles who meet the provided Job Specifications, within affordable rates, and who are available to mobilise on time
- Manage the deployment of new resources within client projects teams, including the MMR process, the coordination of mobilisation, induction, permits, training for approved personnel etc. and demobilisation of personnel at the end of their assignments in line with the employment contractual notice
- Manage deployed personnel within the Contracts to maintain engagement with the Company, meet role expectations, conduct their roles safely, and be positive ambassadors for Wood. This includes managing any IR issues in a timely manner without detrimentally impacting client projects or harming Wood reputation
- Manage Contract(s) obligations, and budget(s) and serve Contractual Notices / Variations Requests as deemed necessary
- Ensure all personnel complete their year-end PDRs / objectives and undergo company mandatory training
- Cascade company communications / information with the team(s)
- Prepare client(s) reports in line with the Contract(s)
- Prepare internal Monthly reports
- Attend Contract(s) review meetings internally and with the client
Skills / Qualifications - BSc in Engineering discipline with minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry including at least 10 years in Project Management and Project coordination
- PMC experience is advantageous
- People management and leadership skills in managing internal and client stakeholders is essential
- Must have the confidence to interface with client management
- Must have sufficient Commercial knowledge to manage Contract(s) budget(s)
- Proficient in English speaking and writing; Arabic language is advantageous
