Responsibilities Wood is currently looking to recruit for a QAQC Engineer on its ADNOC Offshore project. Successful candidate must be able to perform below duties and responsibilities;
- Responsible to supervise and manage EPC contractor and subcontractors, on behalf of the owner, to ensure compliance with project-specific QA/QC requirements
- Review/ comment on the Project Quality Plan, Project Execution Plan & other Project Procedures / documents submitted by contractors;
- Plan and conduct Quality Audits on contractors and subcontractors to ensure that the QA requirements are properly identified and implemented in the Project execution phase
Skills / Qualifications B.S. or equivalent Degree in Engineering with minimum 15 years relevant experience in oil & gas industry.
Must have been in Consultant's organization for at least five (5) years in similar position.
Specific experience in the Middle East for renowned clients is essential.
Should be fully conversant with ISO 9001 and Quality System standards applicable for the projects in oil & gas industry.
Lead Auditor of QMS, with extensive experience in conducting quality audits- including compliance audits, vendor assessments etc.
Should be able to develop quality plans, ITPs and other related QA/QC systems and procedures for projects. Must have worked in senior QA position for Engineering Contractor / Consultant / Owner organization engaged in major oil/gas EPC projects.
Must be fully familiar with international codes & standards to be applied during EPC phase of projects.
Should possess coordination I communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
