Responsibilities Wood is expecting a contract award by August 2018 for a project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

We are currently sourcing a Project Control Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. Successful candidate should be able to perform the below duties and responsibilities;
Project Control Manager shall report directly to Project Manager on all aspects of Project Control including for Project Schedule and progress, cost reporting and invoicing and all documentation control activities. Key responsibilities shall include for: responsible for timely issue of all relevant project specific project control procedures, Schedule development including for FEED schedule and indicative overall project schedule, progress measurement set up for FEED phase and incremental publication of progress status through the FEED, identification of areas of schedule concern and proposals for corrective action, management of project budgets and ensuring project remain within budget constraints and timeline, control and monitoring of costs and invoicing together with identification and control of change management, management of document control set up and flow of documentation between all concerned parties ensuring records kept of all documents received and issued, responsible for timely issuance of project progress reports and deliverables regarding project status both weekly and monthly as required, attendance to project meetings and providing input to status assessments of project as required.
Skills / Qualifications - Engineering Degree or equivalent technical experience particularly in the Oil&Gas industry
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with 10 years relating to project controls
- Strong computer skills including experience working with planning software and standard project control tools
- Knowledge of the design and implementation of projects in the Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Process, Refinery industry in an onshore environmental
- Strong knowledge and understanding on the principles, objective and executive of project planning and cost reporting
